As part of its 2020-2023 programme, the ECML finances the project “CLIL in languages other than English – Successful transitions across educational stages”.
Building on previous ECML projects, the project aims to develop recommendations to implement Content and Language Integrated Learning in languages other than English across educational stages (primary, secondary, tertiary), both in language teaching and other subjects. The recommendations are to be illustrated with practice examples from various contexts in the ECML
member States. For further information on the project, please visit:
The project team has developed a questionnaire in order:
– to collect information about the challenges concerning Content and Language Integrated Learning in languages other than English in the ECML Member States, and – to launch a collaboration with representatives from ECML member States, who could help provide practice examples from different contexts and could be invited to the project network meeting in 2021 or the workshop in 2022.
Our aim is to contact experts to initiate collaboration and to ask them to answer the questionnaire developed by the project team. The questionnaire is available in English, French and German and will be sent to the experts in February.
Please send the contact details (name, institution, e-mail address) of (the) relevant expert(s) to:
firstname.lastname@example.org – if possible by 12 February 2021.
We thank you in advance for your kind assistance and remain at your disposal for any clarifications or questions.
